Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:
v 8+ years of experience in the field of Data warehousing
v Responsible for the development of logical data models and physical data base designs applied across multiple computing environments.
v Ensure optimal end user performance by establishing and consistently executing overall system performance assessment processes and associated action plans.
v Provide oversight and direction for the design and development of the data layer(s).
v Develop standards, process flows and tools that promote and facilitate the mapping of data sources, documenting interfaces and data movement across the enterprise.
v Provide architectural solutions covering data structures, sourcing, integration, security, and retention.
v Developing and implementing Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW), Data Warehouses (DW), Data Marts (DM), Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Operational Data Stores (ODS) etc..
v Developing and maintaining enterprise-wide data models, Logical Data Models (LDM), Physical Data Models (PDM)
v Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills
v Retail related data warehousing experience a plus
v Hands on development in ETL - Informatica development and Performance tuning
Roles and responsibility:
v leading Data Governance (DG) and Data Stewardship efforts
v Building consensus and leading data integration, semantic reconciliation, and data harmonization efforts
v Reviewing and assessing existing data processing methods and techniques
v Analyzing and developing complex database designs, data models, and relationship modeling
v Depicting the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations
v Identifying and resolving information flow and content issues
v Transforming business requirements into logical and physical data models
v Work with the application development teams throughout the development life cycle
v Work in a blended team for a development project.
