Title: Data Stage Architect (1)
Location: Itasca, IL- some travel to KC

Overview:
Responsible for Designing & architecting for a Data Stage Solution. This consultant will need to be at a Senior level that can quickly come up to speed on the existing ETL architecture that our architect has developed and also work with him to enhance and modify the ETL architecture as needed
Requirements:
Must have previous experience Architecting, Designing & implementing Data Stage/ETL solutions inclusive of:
Ø Datastage 8.5/Parallel Edition
Ø SQL Server CDC 2012
Must have exp preparing "steering & driving the right strategic choices" used for completing standards documents around best practice use of data stage technology. Should be adept in the following areas:
· Coding and code review standards around data stage
Ø Source to target mapping
Ø Contribute/Participate in all data mapping meetings.
Ø Perform the work to map the client's data to target tables
Ø Strong ability to perform data analysis
Ø Supports loading the client data into the database
Ø Participate in test plans (unit/systems/integration)
· Technology standards around data stage
· Best practices with development tools
· Unit testing standards around data stage
· Test driven development methodology with data stage
Attention to detail is imperative. Position requires routinely looking beyond what is requested to create greater value and process efficiency
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator (sales oriented in approach). Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
