The Remedy ITSM Report Analyst and Developer will support the ITSM maturity through report development, quality assurance, and data analysis of Remedy ITSM. This position is responsible for converting application data stored in an Oracle relational database into reports using reporting design tools. The Remedy ITSM Report Analyst and Developer will work with ITSM Process Owners to translate requirements into report specifications.
Responsibilities :
* Provide expertise in areas such as data mining, statistical analysis, management reporting, business process analysis, and documentation
* Develop algorithms/processes to create SQL queries to extract from various data sources and databases to perform calculations
* Perform some statistical analysis of Remedy data
* Establish and provide IT baseline and benchmark data/reports
* Export data to a usable format (e.g. Access, SQL, Excel, etc.) to support the creation of all performance management related reports
* Generate data required from SQL databases using various reporting utilities to produce reports on programs, projects, product, or service as requested
Required Skills :
* Experience with a reporting design tools such as Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
* Experience with data management via Oracle Databases
* Advanced development in SQL and PL/SQL.
Desired Skills :
* Experience in roles requiring strong analytical, problem-solving and data mining skills.
* Experience with Toad or other Database Management Tools
