Title: Data Analyst
Location: NYC | NY
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 Months (Extension possible)
Responsibilities:
Data Analyst to work with user groups to define system and reporting requirements, communicate requirements to IT, analyze source system data, and validate system outputs, processes and reporting data. Develop queries against various data sources to analyze and report data. Identify data trends and data abnormalities.
Extensive experience reporting and analyzing data.
Experience working in a data warehousing environment and using Business Intelligence
Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus
Ability to write queries and reports using SQL is a must (Having experience with SAS would be plus)
Strong experience analyzing and documenting business requirements
Ability to effectively communicate to business users and IT
Cognos or any BI experience is a plus
Data Migration experience is a plus
