Position: SharePoint Lead

Location: Chicago IL

Duration: 12 months

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010 relating to SharePoint as a content management system (CMS)

• Design, develop, and maintain custom components required for Portal sites and Team Sites(master pages, workflows, InfoPath forms, web etc.).

• In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, Business Intelligence, web parts development.

• Must have deep knowledge using SharePoint Designer workflows, effective use of the data view web part (DVWP), content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization.

• Candidate must require experience designing and developing workflows(OOTB, custom workflows using SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Visio 2010, or Visual Studio)

• Develop custom applications in support of enterprise projects utilizing SharePoint in a way that leverages the use of OOTB SharePoint features and functionality.

• Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX).

• Experience with the .NET framework, ASP .NET (C# & Vb.net).

• Experience with server installation, performance tuning is required and valued.

• Understand the farm configuration, architecture, and installation of Application Services such as Search, Excel, PerformancePoint, Managed Metadata, Business Connectivity, User Profile etc.

• Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security as it applies to SharePoint is a plus.

• Experience in working with development, staging and production environments is a plus.

• Knowledge of various SQL Server features such as SSAS, SSRS and extensive knowledge of SQL Server database design and development including Database views, triggers and rules, stored procedures on the SQL server platform
