Position: Storage Engineers: (IBM XIV)

Location: Chevy Chase MD

Durartion: 6+ months

 

Environment:

•             hardware

o             Mostly IBM XIV, some v7000, some EMC VMAX

o             SVC

o             Brocade

•             Software

o             Tivoli Storage Productivity Center

o             Virtual Wisdom

o             Brocade Network Advisor

 

Sample Duties

•             Performance problem analysis

•             Firmware updates and other planned events

•             Configure access gateways on enclosures and other switches

•             Provisioning/de-provisioning of storage

•             Coordinating hardware replacements and physical layer fixes

•             Disk zoning/configuration after new purchases

•             Enhance monitoring and create alerts
