Job Title: Data Modeler
Duration : 6 months +
Location: Quincy, Massachusetts
MUST HAVE RECENT HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE
Description:
Looking for experienced Data Modeler in healthcare domain, to be part of a team that is implementing the next generation healthcare eligibility and Insurance Exchange.
The responsibilities include
Ø Design of data models based on business requirements
Ø Reverse Engineer source system structures for model sourcing/landing
Ø Create Conceptual/Logical/Physical models for staging, reporting and data integration
Ø Drive model management and version control of all data models
Ø Facilitate creation/migration of data objects (DDL) across Development /QA/Production
Ø Drive metadata capture through data modeling application
Ø Document the data model
Ø Assist the development team in understanding the model and make enhancements as needed
Required Skills:
Ø 5+ years of experience using data modeling tools such as ERWIN or ER Studio, or Rational Data Architect supporting IT dev projects
Ø 5+ years working as an IT consultant, business/technical analyst, DBA or BI data modeler
Ø An in-depth understanding of the Data Life Cycle data modeling concept and principles
Ø Must have an in-depth understanding of dimensional modeling concepts
Ø Experience with storing metadata/data dictionaries within formal modeling tool
Ø Must have in-depth experience in Oracle RDBMS platform
Ø Exposure to Master Data Management solutions
Ø Experience in the Health care Insurance industry
Ø Strong Business acumen highly desirable
Ø Must be able to work independently or as part of a team to develop the required solution
Ø Excellent written and verbal communications skills will be required for customer and team interaction
