Position: .Net Developer
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 6+ months contract
The developer will be responsible for building scalable and high performance web based solutions. The developer will work on all aspects of software development, including user interface development,
object-oriented coding, unit and integration testing, troubleshoot software problems in test and production environments and resolve software bugs.
Required Skills:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
At least 6 years of hand-on experience with the following technologies:
Program ASP.NET web applications using C#, .NET Framework, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/2012/2015, ASP.Net 3.5/4.0/4.5, AJAX, and JavaScript Libraries like jQuery.
Develop stored procedures, functions packages using T-SQL (SQL Server).
Identify, evaluate, and develop effective procedures and systems requirements that align with the business requirements.
Ability to work independently.
Collaborate with the project manager to identify future needs, develop strategy for overall scope, implementation of features for releases, implementation requirements, and system documentation.
Desired Skills:
Understand regulatory/health care business concepts and practices.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Participated in, and is familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodologies.
Create and consume Web Services within SharePoint 2013 and ASP.NET applications using WCF.
