Position:

SQL Server Integration Services Developer Summary:

This resource will be a member of the build team within the Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (BI COE) organization at Rockwell Automation.

They will provide technical SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) solutions between Microsoft and Cloudera Hadoop environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package development using stored procedures

• Thorough understanding on ETL processes, database schema mapping, and object modeling

• Strong SQL Skills with performance tuning and understanding of tools used to do tuning

• Data movement between Microsoft Dynamics and Cloudera Hadoop environment

• Dot Net and Master Data Services (MDS) programming experience

• Hadoop query experience using HQL, Spark, and Impala

• Understanding complex business needs, analyzing, designing, and developing solutions

• Unit and integration testing and documentation

• Knowledge and experience working with customer and contact data domains

• RESTful web service API development in a Microsoft environment

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Follow agile development methodologies

• Is a team player Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in SSIS and ETL development

• Sourcing data out of a Microsoft Dynamics platform

• Storing data in a Cloudera Hadoop environment in Hive tables

• Excellent troubleshooting skills
