​Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 months + (will extend)

Responsibilities: 

• Build and maintain rich client-side applications
  
• Work with our product team to tackle tough user interface problems 
  
• Fix bugs during product development cycle
  
• Collaborate with product team to develop and enhance new features

Requirements:

• 6+ years of relevant experience
  
• A passion to learn your craft and share that knowledge with your peers
  
• Experience in JavaScript with everything from DOM manipulation to application architecture
  
• You've worked with CSS at scale and understand frameworks like OOCSS or Bootstrap
  
• Experience with an MVC framework like Backbone, Angular, Ember, or Maria
  
• You've got strong thoughts about code organization and can argue for or against solutions like AMD modules or CommonJS 

The ideal candidate would possess the following: 

• Published NPM or Bower modules
  
• Worked with more than one MV* framework and can give us pros/cons of each
  
• Experience working with/on Ruby
  
• An understanding of relational databases, MySQL knowledge is a plus

Education:

​ 

BS/BA in a related field, such as Computer Science or equivalent Engineering experience is required
