Title:  Java Software Engineer

Location: Waltham, MA

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

 

Note: Only USC

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•             Understand customer requirements and project goals.

•             Contribute to functional and technical specifications based on customer requirements

•             Create/contribute test plan and test cases

•             Complete software customization and modifications using Java or .NET

•             Configure and test the implementation

•             Support customer deployments

•             Apply standard Software Development Lifecycle processes

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

•             Degree in Computer Science or related fields, master's degree preferred

•             3 to 5 years' experience in customer engagements

•             Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

•             Expertise in technologies including Java, J2EE, .NET, SOAP, XML, SQL, Databases.

•             Excellent communication, written and verbal, skills

•             Travel to customer sites will be required.

•             Experience with Aerospace industry strongly desirable. 

•             Experience with Enterprise software deployments is desirable
