Title :ETL Developer Informatica/Oracle
Location: Atlanta
Duration :6 months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ETL Developer will analyze, design, develop, and support initiatives to build an enterprise ETL framework while improving standards for data mapping, integration, and data traceability across the business functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Five or more years' experience in software engineering.
• Two or more years' experience in a large scale Oracle RDMS environment, preferably 11g.
• Experience with Informatica Powercenter ETL Development.
• Experience in advanced PL/SQL techniques.
• Experience in Unix shell and Windows scripting.
• ETL design skills in a Data Warehousing environment.
• Ability to analyze complex ETL workflows from heterogeneous data sources.
• Experienced in large Enterprise Data Warehouse projects.
• Strong background in full lifecycle development using multiple platforms or languages.
• Ability to interact with Management and Software Developers, on- and off-site.
• Ability to interact at a technical and non-technical level with Infrastructure, Network, Development, BA and QA teams.
• Development experience in high transaction/high availability systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The ETL Software Developer performs design and implementation of ETL processes for our Enterprise Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store (ODS), and other data structures that support our Business Intelligence operations.
• Analyzes requirements and existing resources to create efficient database and ETL designs that meet company IT standards.
• Works with project and business analyst leads in order to develop and clarify in-depth technical requirements.
• Participates in all phases of the ETL development lifecycle, including unit testing and ongoing support.

• Proven ability to provide strong problem solving skills.
• Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance
• Must be flexible, be able to change priorities quickly, and handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Individual must be a self-starter and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
• Capable of learning new tools and technologies.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
