Duration              1 year

 

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills 

• Must have 4 or more years experience in Business Intelligence development, using Cognos BI tools

• Must have 4 or more years experience in Data Warehousing

• Experience with most of the following Cognos tools required: Report Studio, Query Studio, PowerPlay, and Business Insight

• Must have 3 or more years experience in SQL database development, using SQL and PL/SQL, with in-depth

• Knowledge of analytical functions

• Retail experience preferred

• Excellent documentation and communication skills

 

Roles and responsibility               

• Responsible for analyzing detailed end user specifications. Designs and configures BI metadata layer.

• Designs and develops, reports, dashboards and scorecards. Tunes and optimizes report performance coordinating with DABs on optimizing query response times.

• Designs and implements test plans for unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.

• Implements and maintains security in report development and report access at multiple levels including report groups, role-based and record level.

 

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills     

 •Minimum 4+ years  COGNOS experience

  • Hard-working and very good communication/adaptive skills

Total experience in required skill (years)               3~8 years
