Description:

Client is looking for a Senior Developer with a strong background in Java Technologies who can provide senior level application design deliverables, develop and implement complex software applications.

Candidate must be very strong in Core Java, Web Services and SQL with minimum 7yrs of experience.

Scope of Work:

• Participate with business analysts and development manager in the requirements definition process

• Translate business requirements into viable technical architectures and designs

• Implement the designs (design, code, test, deploy). Support the deployed applications through debugging, fixing, and maintenance releases.

• Understand the current applications and technical architecture and provide technical and programming support

• Work with users, contractors and technical personnel to meet project milestones

• Stay abreast of new technology and methods to optimize development for the enterprise

• Have a thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and the ability to implement software      following the structured approach.

• Very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills 

• Ability to work well with peers and all levels of management

• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Required skills:

• 4 year degree, BS Computer Science or Engineering

• Server-side Java Development Experience

• Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, Struts, Spring, SOAP Web Services, Rest Web Services, XML, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, SQL, JDBC, Unix 

• Developing performance-critical applications in J2EE 

• Mobile Development and JQuery Mobile experience a big plus

• Well versed in RDBMS technology: Oracle 10g, Oracle 11g
