We are looking for LAMP Admin for one of our client at Reston, VA. Please let me know your interest.
LAMP Admin
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $45/hr
In-person interview is required after telephonic.
Required Skills:
· 5+ years experience with UNIX/Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu or similar OS)
· Strong Linux and Web Site Administration Skills in a LAMP environment
· 3 - 5 years experience managing public facing, front end web servers/web sites, including configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting
· 3 - 5 years Apache setup, configuration and administration experience
· 3+ years MySQL database setup, configuration and administration experience
· 3+ years experience shell scripting and/or other programming (Perl, Python) to accomplish various tasks.
· Experience hardening the Linux OS and closing security vulnerabilities associated with Internet facing servers
· Strong understanding of user security configuration models associated with LAMP environments
· Familiarity with various monitoring and administration tools (Puppet, Nagios, et. al) along with experience dealing with a web site that has high SLA objectives
