Summary:
Contractor SAP CRM Business Analyst will work with business resources and the project team to design and document solutions to facilitate the replacement of legacy systems.
The Contractor is responsible for providing SAP table and field mappings and table relationship information for existing SAP CRM fields that can be used to store legacy information.
The Contractor will also gather business requirements and recommend solutions for legacy data that will require custom tables and/or fields in SAP CRM. The Contactor is responsible for the design and documentation of all relevant development objects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with team mates to fully define data needs. Suggest SAP CRM standard transactions / tables if applicable.
Determine SAP CRM fields and tables that contain information needed to replace legacy system functionality.
Provide table relationships including matching key fields. Provide logic to create, update and display data.
Determine what additional custom tables and fields are needed to store legacy data where no standard SAP CRM solution exists. Create appropriate documentation. Write robust functional specifications.
Support internal or third party programming/development activities
Create test plans and lead QA/test activities.
Assist in the development of user support and project documentation
Provide thorough knowledge transfer to project resources
Ensure adherence to change control policies and audit guidelines
Complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines
Follows corporate project execution framework
Qualifications
At least 4+ years experience in the SAP CRM space
Strong knowledge of accounting processes and integration.
Strong knowledge of SAP CRM tables and fields.
Construction industry experience is a plus.
ABAP knowledge a plus
Strong analytical skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Communicates well with all levels of management
Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
Ability to work in a team environment
Able to work independently and communicate risks or potential problems to supervisor
Education:
Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.--
