The Solution Execution team within SAP Custom Development is chartered with executing custom development projects and related services, where success is measured by effectively leveraging our ability to deliver those projects on-time, on-budget and with superior quality. As part of the Solution Execution team, you will be responsible for high level business process and requirements analysis, architecting solutions utilizing appropriate technologies across various SAP components and application areas, creating solution definitions, functional specifications and design documents as required, overseeing development, support and training with all documentation, together with testing, production and go-live aspects according to the SAP Custom Development methodology.
You will be working as part of a Custom Development Support Hub which is a support formation with the SAP Custom development within the Field Services board area. Your aim should be to take ownership of all issues for the product(s)/project(s).In the process of delivering the best support towards our customers you are required to interact with the customer towards resolution of all issues within the project(s)/product(s) and to make yourself the trusted advisor of choice for their business.
Required Skills:
· Profound ABAP development experience - ABAP Workbench, Report Programming, Data Migration, Screen Programming, Smartforms, Authorizations, ALE/IDOC, Workflow, Performance Tuning, OO ABAP, Webdynpro ABAP, Enhancements & Modifications
· Functional expertise of business processes, master data, transactions & configuration knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
· SCM - APO, EWM
· SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, PM, PS, WM
· HCM/CRM/PLM/SRM
Job Description:
· Perform high-level analysis of customer business processes and requirements and architect custom end-to-end solutions that meet those requirements on price/performance/scalability
· Play a "Trusted Advisor" role to the customer on Technology topics
· Translate system requirements into custom solution specifications for complex and large projects
· High-Level overall solution design
· Provide direction to development teams for custom solution realization and participate, as necessary, in coding, testing, documentation, go-live andmaintenance support activities
· Jointly responsible for ensuring the quality of the solution .
· Driving adoption of newer cutting edge technology within the organization through knowledge sessions, adoption of the same in the solution, etc
