Job Title: Web Architect
Location: Princeton, NJ
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
The Corporate Systems Group within the ERP Systems Group within IT needs to fill an Architect - IT position. The candidate with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities will need to start 05/01/2013.
Experience: The ideal candidate must be an outstanding technical expert, be a self-starter and have 5-7 years of architect experience with web enterprise applications with a minimum of 5 years experience with technologies such as Java & OO methodologies in a UNIX/Linux environment. Experience in financial applications is preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Technical Requirements:
Java, XML
Web Based Development: JSP, Servlets, JavaScript and HTML
Database experience in Oracle, including SQL, embedded SQL, database design and stored procedures
Development environment: JBoss and Tomcat
Platform: Unix, Windows, Linux
Object Oriented Methodology, web development and client/server programming
TCP/IP trouble shooting
Application performance and tuning
VM and cloud computing
Additional Skills Required:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with troubleshooting, issue analysis and resolution, preferably in a technical production support environment
Ability to quickly resolve critical and extremely time-sensitive technical problems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Quick learning, open to changes and new technology
Ability to multi-task and bring open issues to closure
Understanding of network and system concepts and terminology
Ability to document and assist in developing production support procedures
Good interpersonal and team-working skills

Work Summary
The candidate filling this Architect – IT position will support the Centralized Payment Solution - CPS application by providing technical support to applications interfacing with CPS, interpreting CyberSource/CPS technical specifications and working with CyberSource technical resources in troubleshooting issues.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Maintaining the CPS Testing Tool
Maintaining the HOP jsp (hosted order page)
Assisting with Software Testing CPS releases via the CPS Testing Tool (when applicable)
Assisting in the transition of Paylinx Post to the CPS Testing Tool via VM and cloud computing
Providing technical support to applications interfacing with CPS
Interpreting CyberSource/CPS technical specifications
Maintaining CPS technical documentation
Working with CyberSource technical resources in troubleshooting issues
Investigating production logs
Support activities associated with West Wind Monitor
Updating SUBVERSION with CPS source code
