Data Architect/Senior – Lead or Architect

Data Architect role at a healthcare provider client, for a large-scale implementation of a clinical data warehouse. 

The warehouse will reside on the Teradata platform and will leverage the Teradata healthcare data model.

Role Description:

The candidate should be able to interface with client Solution Architect(s) and Teradata consultants, parse requirements, and update the Teradata healthcare logical model, as needed

The candidate should be able to define and drive the direction for an efficient physical model solution, ensuring adherence to standards, ease of load/access, and conformity with the semantic layer requirements

The candidate should be able to design and construct dimensionalized views for the storage of measures/metrics to enable self-service reporting/analytics capabilities

The candidate should will be responsible for delivering the logical and physical models of the warehouse

This is a highly-client facing role and the candidate will be looked upon to provide data architecture standards and effective data modeling solutions

Key Requirements:

Data modeling – Normalized relational/denormalized forms and dimensional modeling

Data architecture

Master data management

SQL/PL-SQL

Teradata

Extensive experience in healthcare industry, preferably in the provider space

Preferred experience in the Teradata healthcare data model
