Must-haves
-4+ years of experience in a WCS Administrator role
-J2EE OR WebSphere application server administration experience
-Experience with Java/JSP server side programming
-Knowledge of Perl scripting
-Understanding of relational database design and writing SQL queries
-Good communication skills

-AS400 platform and J2EE framework experience
Day-to-Day
Client is looking for a WCS Administrator for one of our retail clients in Katy, Texas. This person will be responsible for administering Websphere Commerence on AIX. This will consist of scheduling jobs, performing routine system maintenance, validating production deployments, testing and supporting applications, and monitoring, measuring, and adjusting performance on all levels of system operations. They will build and deploy assigned applications as well as define and publish the process to transition to the disaster recovery environment. This person will also partner with Business Analysts to create designs and process workflows for the enterprise systems.
