Objective C programming
Threading in C, concurrency
iOS app development experience

Knows exactly how memory management works in ObjC
Knows how atomic/non-atomic works
Has knowledge of thread safety and how to synchronize access to variables/methods
Has knowledge of what deadlock is
Basics such as shallow vs deep copy.
