Solutions Analyst II (Business Intelligence Developer, Qlik)

The Equity Portfolio Management Business Intelligence and Analytics team is a small and agile team that leverages a strong understanding of the portfolio management process to help the business make critical decisions.

We are currently seeking a Qlik Business Intelligence Developer.

This position will be responsible for building out Business Intelligence end to end solutions from design and development to implementation. Experience with high volume, complex data sets and how to extract, transform and store those for optimized distribution and performance is highly preferred.

Additionally, the BI Developer will be expected to build front end dashboards for a diverse user base that focus on usability, standardization and long-term flexibility.

Design experience and knowledge of visualization best practices is therefore preferred.

The candidate should have 2+ years of experience with Qlik (QlikView or QlikSense) or 5+ years combined with similar BI platforms (e.g. Spotfire, Microstrategy, Tableau).

Strong SQL programming skills are preferred as is experience with investment data.

The candidate will be proactive, a self-starter and should be able to partner with both business and technology teams.

Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to influence others is also desired.

Demonstrated advanced analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills;

Must be able to meet with clients of varying levels to gather, document and analyze specifications and requirements in a fast-paced environment; Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others in team environment;

Process oriented, logical thinker;

Experience with estimation of work;

Investment data experience preferred;

Ensure strong data governance and transparency
