This is challenging because we have such high volumes of raw data to process and we deal with multiple data sources. We use a ton of cool technologies to get this done, which makes Data at this clienta great place to sharpen your toolset.Who we need:We're looking for people who can understand the needs of our users throughout the business, and then manipulate raw data into a useful form to fulfill those needs (i.e. Self Service Dashboard). Our BI Developers/Analysts understand that sometimes the biggest part of the job is cleaning, modelling, and reconciling the data.You will conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work in a highly dynamic environment, with fundamentally new types of data, as the client pushes the envelope around both domestic and international, air-to-ground and satellite-based connectivity and entertainment services in the sky.At your core you are creative, but pragmatic. You understand the strategic business needs and uses that to guide your analysis and design.You'll need to have: BSc/ MSc Computer Science, Operations Research, Analytics or other degree from a quantitative field. 5+ years in depth knowledge with development in Microsoft stack (i.e. including SSRS / SSIS / SSAS). 5+ years in depth knowledge of database design, data warehousing and dimensional modeling. Visualization and dashboard development experience in Tableau and/or Power BI. Strong background designing ETL processes including best practices and performance tuning. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Proven working experience as a data analyst. Good interpersonal and communication skills.Bonus points if you have: Database profiling and schema optimization experience. Experience in data mining and segmentation techniques..
