Job Title: BI Publisher Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business function users and BI team to ensure that requirements are designed, developed and implemented
• Deliver business service requirements by following Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Design, Develop and Maintain BI Publisher, OBIEE dashboard and reports based on business service requirements
• Develop unit test cases, scenarios and scripts to validate functionality of Operational reporting & Business Intelligence dashboards
• Conduct unit and system integration tests for project solutions and fix bugs
• Provide on-demand action in order to support BI Production needs
• Analyze and resolve data discrepancies, performance issues, defects and bugs
• Adapt to changes in the project plan and business service requirements
• Follow SDLC and Change management and document the procedures on reporting and BI solutions to meet the SOX Compliance

Skills and Experience Required:

 

Required

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Financial & Supply chain modules, includes Order management
• 5+ years of solid experience in BI Publisher, OBIEE design & development
• Implement and support BI Publisher reports and OBIEE dashboards solutions
• Solid technical working experience of Oracle ERP in areas of reporting, with dimensional data models of business intelligence
• Strong SQL & PLSQL development, debugging and performance tuning skills
• Understanding of Operational & business analytics needs of Sales, Finance and Manufacturing Service functions
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to provide creative solutions
• Must have experience on Agile / Scrum, SDLC waterfall methodology
• Must have experience on interacting with onshore / offshore Business Intelligence & Analytics Team
• A solid team communicator with high energy and a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in fast environments and working to deadlines

Desired:

• Exposure to Hi-Tech / Software Industry domain is a huge plus

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical degree preferred
