THEY WOULD LIKE A LOCAL CANDIDATE OR SOMEONE NEAR THE INDIANA AREA..
C#.NET developer for real-time application development to expand our existing product for additional business functionality.
MISO is looking for C# Developer to join a team onsite in Carmel, IN who are focused on developing new functionality in the EMD and RTD applications. These applications, which have existing solutions in Excel, will require some analysis and troubleshooting to extract requirements to re-develop them in C#. Candidates need to have experience working closely with cross functional groups such as Quality Assurance, business analysts, Project Managers, and various business groups. The ideal candidate will need to have an engineering mindset to figure out how to redevelop these complex applications/spreadsheets. The developed solution must follow the style of other applications they are building for consistency as well as support. They are currently using WPF, Windows Forms, and WebServices under IIS. Oracle is our backend database and some SQL work will also be involved. Experience with Real-Time data applications is a plus. Energy related is also a plus.
Required:
- 5+ Years C# Development Experience
- WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) or Form Screen Experience
- Strong Database experience (SQL and Oracle)
- Experience developing in an Agile/Scrum environment
Plus:
- Previous Energy Industry Experience
- Previous Java development experience
Need a candidate who is not only a developer but someone who can work with the business and my team to understand the requirements and develop a solution. We will likely have a BA involved but the developer will also be involved in the requirements.
