Job Title: RPG Developer

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

Length: 6-12 months

Start: ASAP

Interview: Face 2 Face

The RPG Programmer Analyst, provides programming support for existing software enhancements. Support may be for customer or internal organizations.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

· Bachelor's degree preferred.

· RPG Free, CLP, SQL, DB400, RDi, and iSeries.

· Minimum of 8+ years of experience in RPG programming.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Code new RPG/CLP programs and modify or enhance existing RPG/CLP programs.

· Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.

· Troubleshoots and debugs existing code and systems to identify and resolve issues.

· Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.

· Certification testing to 3rd party vendors

· Develops conversion and system implementation plans

· Implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.

· Provides programming support for various interfaces.

· Keeps internal and external customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes.

· Creates all programming documentation.

· Completes project bids.

· Work as the programmer team member to create and execute conversions and implementations.

· Work as the member of programming teams to improve the quality and performance of the department.

· May assist in mentoring, training, developing and providing support to less experienced co-workers.

· Provide leadership in professional and ethical practices.
