Role: JDA Intactix Technical Architect / Space Planning Technical Architect

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Duration : 12 months

Rtae :$ 70/hr (negotiable)

Job Description :

Roles and responsibility:

1. Preparation of Functional and Technical Design Document
2. Work with business owners and users in clarifying needs and requirements for their technical issues related to the configuration, performance, and enhancement
3. Works with project team to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements
4. Translate user business requirements and expectations into cost effective technical solutions which includes deliverables, work plans and project implementation requirements
5. Lead application upgrades, patches and approve changes to the application system software or hardware
6. Escalate application issues to JDA Support when necessary
7. Assists Project Managers in planning efforts. Creates detailed tasks on overall project plan (i.e. during sales cycle, after the project plan is complete, or based on enhancements)
8. Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology
9. Provides technical support during the "go-live" period
10. Provides primary user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity
11. Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project
12. Develops and executes test scripts to ensure JDA software consistently meets the customer's business objectives
13. Develops technical specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound design
14. Is a thought leader in their Product Solution area of focus and is able to apply that knowledge to customer situations
15. Serves as a technical liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors
16. Understands how the JDA solutions within area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes (ensuring ability to design, execute, and deliver.

Required Skills:

1. At least 7 years of experience in IT development
2. 3+ years of experience in JDA Intactix Suite with experience in multiple implementation / upgrade / enhancement JDA Intactix projects
3. Hands-on experience in Space Automation Scripting
4. Customer interaction and analytical skills
5. Must have demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
6. Working knowledge of JDA Intactix Suite (i.e, Space Planning, Floor Planning, Intactix Knowledge Base)
7. Experience in Creation of Data Manager forms/ reports
8. Experience Migrating .net customization in JDA Space Automation scripts
9. Experience in Planogram Generator will be an added advantage
10. Working knowledge – exposure to SQL server/ .NET preferred.

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills:

Client is searching for a JDA Intactix Technical Consultant. JDA Intactix Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, configuring and supporting JDA Intactix Suite Applications. This position requires experience with application development and support, a demonstrated ability in developing effective technology solutions and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. This individual must have a track record of delivering high quality solutions on-time and with a high level of customer service.
