Title: Hyperion Essbase/Planning Developer

Location: Somers, NY

Rate: $50/hr. AI

Start Date: 4/6/2015

End Date: 9/30/2015

 

Job Description:

Position will be responsible for re-writing multiple, existing Excel VBA based tools from Essbase Excel add-in (v9.3.3) to Hyperion Smartview add-in (v11.1.2.4).
• Review existing workbooks (5+) to understand all Excel processing – Macros, Excel Functions and VBA code
• Re-write all Essbase add-in API functionality to leverage new Hyperion Smartview API
• Design sustainable, re-usable workbook template – share across all existing tools
• Review and train support roles on maintenance and processing of new VBA code

 

Required Qualification:

• 3+ years of experience with Hyperion tool s(Planning/Essbase)
• 3+ years Excel VBA development – including Hyperion Essbase and Smartview
• Strong Microsoft Office (Excel) expertise
• Excellent communication (working with onshore and offshore resources)
• Work independently – ability to identify and raise risks early
