Title: Cognos Developer
Location: Deerfield Beach, IL
Type: 6 Months Contract
Must have: Windows 2000,COGNOS,IBM,Windows 7,CognosNow, Teradata,
Description:
§ This position requires over 5 years' experience in design, development and implementation of Cognos Business Intelligence applications in a large scale environment.
§ This position requires excellent communication skills to work effectively with business partners.
§ Duties may include defining strategies for technical solutions, determining requirements and developing functional designs based on the analysis of needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure.
§ Successful candidates must have proven success in framework modeling and advanced report development and be able to work effectively in a project team or as an individual contributor.
Required Skills:
§ Cognos 10 experience
§ Experience working with large enterprises
§ Framework Modeling
§ Report Studio (advanced skills preferred)
§ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
§ Excellent communication skills
§ SQL coding skills
§ Experience with Teradata, Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server RDBMS
Desired Skills:
§ Analysis Studio and/or Powerplay Studio
§ Transformer
§ Dashboard and Portal Design
§ UNIX shell scripting
§ SDK
§ JavaScript
§ Report Studio (advanced skills preferred) should say advanced skills required
