Title: Lead Engineer
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: San Jose, CA
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Work with our Architect and end customer Chief Architecture team to understand their requirements and implementation plan.
· Work with principal engineers/ architects of different Business Units within customer line of business to streamline and standardize some of their engineering products & processes.
· Present results to senior management through insightful recommendations.
· Focus on the deliverables committed.
· Communicate work flow & implementation internally with the onsite lead and offshore team to ensure smooth delivery.
· Motivate, lead and manage offshore team to provide quality client deliverables.
· Build client relationships, adopt an engagement model with clear cadence on communication within the client organization.
Skills & Competencies:
· Experience in Enterprise application development.
· Modeling tools like UML. To help in Abstract Object Models, Data Models etc.
· Openstack esp. Neutron.
· Possess strong analytical/logical thinking skills and clarity of thought.
· Ability to learn complex technical requirements very quickly, define problems accurately while paying attention to detail in the solution.
· Ability to develop relationships with clients and offshore teams built on trust and credibility.
· Experience in global delivery is a definite plus.
· Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
· Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
