Job Title: JavaScript / ArcGIS Developer 

Location: Long Island City, NY (Need Locals)

Duration : 6+ Months

Required skills:

JavaScript

Experience integrating .NET with ESRI ArcGIS JavaScript API, DOJO Framework, and ArcGIS SOAP/REST Web services to develop Web and Mobile based mapping applications.

ASP.Net MVC framework 4/5.

Desired Skills:

C# and ASP.Net development – should have full lifecycle multitier web-based application development experience.

SQL / TSQL development (minimum 3 years) – should have recent experience with SQL Server 2008/2012 and experience using SQL Server Spatial Data. Knowledge of writing and using stored procedures.

Experience developing web services (SOAP/WCF/WebAPI).

Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Visual Studio.

Experience with jQuery, XML, JSON.

Knowledge of Responsive Web Design concepts.

Experience with TFS.

Experience with ArcGIS 10.x, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Server technology.

Familiarity with Open Source mapping platforms, WMS, Open Data, and geoprocessing concepts.

Familiarity with Python scripting.

Experience using GitHub.

Familiarity with Data Visualization concepts and platforms.
