Title: Oracle Forms/Reports Developer

Location: NYC, NY

Duration : 1 year contract

Major corporate client located in downtown NYC seeks a Junior / Intermediate Oracle Developer/DBA to support a major upgrade from Oracle Version 10g with an 11g back-end database to browser-based Oracle 11g Forms/Reports development 10g and higher, relational database modeling, SQL and PL/SQL.

Qualified candidates need to have 3-5 years' experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer and database administrator.

The specific skill sets desired are summarized as follows:

Modify database schema design as needed including partitioning.

Implement best practices and recommend tools to manage database schemas.Support development, test and production environments using Oracle 11g Forms and Reports expertise.

Design, develop and implement archiving of production data.

Develop & maintain procedures to optimize application availability.

Capacity Planning.

Perform impact analyzes of changes to database schema objects.

Work closely and provide technical support to applications developers on new and existing Oracle systems.

Build and maintained procedures, packages, triggers and views.

Provide technical assistance with custom development.

Perform knowledge transfer in the areas of Oracle DBA, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming and performance monitoring.
