Role: Build Release Engineer with DevOps  

Location: Columbus, OH

12+ Months Contract

 

Locals preferred

 

Banking domain experience is mandatory

 

Responsibilities:

·         The candidate will specifically work to manage and execute software release builds and deployments for .Net, Java, and Mobile applications.

·         Expertise in Perl, Shell Scripting, Maven, MSBuild, MSDeploy is must.

·         Given the wide range of applications supported by DIGITAL group, the candidate will also be expected to execute database updates on different platforms.

·         These deployments will span Test, QA, Stage and Production environments.

·         The candidate is expected to work closely with the development teams and provide Source Code Management, Build/Deploy and Configuration Management support for all Digital applications.

·         The candidate is also expected adhere to source control best practices as defined by the Digital team and support for all different code sets across the DIGITAL group.

·         Experience in build automation using a variety of scripting languages is a must. Candidate must have through understanding of modern DevOps and release process and best practices.

·         The candidate is also expected to have a thorough understanding of Code Quality/Security Metrics generation process and should have worked with tools like Sonar, AppScan & Fortify.

 

Required Skills:

- Experience in configuring CI processes using Jenkins, TFS is plus

- Strong experience in Maven, MS Build & MS Deploy is required

- Deployment experience on various development, test and production environments

- Experience in implementing code quality scanning and reporting using tools like Jenkins, Sonar, Fortify

- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Perl, Shell Scripting for script automation. 

- Subversion and TFS administration and installation skills, training, and experience. Knowledge of SVN Multisite is a plus

- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and key-value store databases preferred.  

- Strong usage and administration skills in Windows and AIX environments .

 

Nice to have:

Background of Mobile MEAP Platforms like Kony etc. Will be good.
