This Plano-based nationwide industry leader has an immediate 8+ month contract opening in Plano, TX for a .NET Developer. Seeking a middle-tier .NET software developer with 3+ years' experience working with C#, WPF, HTML5 & CSS. Key requirements are:

• Demonstrated knowledge of software development practices, computer science theory, and understanding of relevant technologies.
• 3+ years C#/.NET experience.
• SQL Server.
• WPF.
• HTML required (HTML5 preferred).
• CSS.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to write and test code in reasonable timeframes.
• Demonstrated basic understanding of product architecture and all underlying technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills, teamwork and customer service skills.

This .NET Developer will be required to work in the office Monday-Friday with flex hours available. Will work with the Technology team (Research & Development team) to re-write legacy product areas using a proprietary enterprise application framework (EAF). This enterprise application framework is built on .NET / SQL Server technologies and uses .NET for extensibility.

Responsibilities include:
• Participating in application design with technology team.
• Creating application user interface pages using proprietary (EAF) declarative markup language and C#.
• Writing unit tests.
• Performing functional and performance testing of application areas.
• Performing other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
• No travel
