Title:               .NET Applications Development Consultant
Duration:       12 months
Location:        Cypress, CA (Local to CA)

 

Job Responsibilities: 
Working on the ECAA Migration to Documentum project to start with and other projects such as Polaris Small Business Projects, etc.
Will be a member of the Document Solutions Management Development team – currently 8 onshore and 12 offshore.  This role will be 100% onsite here in Cypress, CA.

 

Top responsibilities for this position
Design / develop projects within the DMS team that requires java technology
Participate in meetings for projects, review technical documentation to the project team and internal architect team and management team.
Guide developers on any designs created by this person. This will require offshore DEV team interaction.

 

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
• Able to teach/mentor
• Web services consumer/provider
• Object oriented design/programming
• Familiarity with design patterns
• Familiarity with using unit test tools
• UML
• Source/Build/Deploy management – can help CM package projects etc.
• General internet security concepts/standards

• Visual Studios 2003-2012
• Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• SQL Server 2008, 2012
• Windows OS (desktop 7, 8 and server 2003, 2008, 2012), Unix/Linux (a plus)
• IIS 6.0, 7.5, 8/8.5
• Windows Services
• SOAP
• JQuery / JQuery UI
• XML: XPATH, XSLT, XQUERY, XSD (Schema), etc.

 

A plus:
• General document management knowledge
• CMIS
• NoSQL DBs: MongoDB
• RESTful Services
• JSON
• Security protocols, LDAP/AD
• MQ (MSMQ, RabbitMQ)
