Position: Prime Synthetic Java Developer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Description:
- Quick to learn, and well thought-out in deriving a solution.
- 5+ year's hands-on software development experience in Java/J2EE/XML. Preference will be given to candidates who have solid experience working on large scale, high volume transaction systems especially financial systems.
- Hands on GUI development experience using Java and Swing or Vaadin Rich Client framework and the like. Experience in programming HTML5 and Javascript using JQuery/Ext JS or similar is a plus.
- 5+ years working knowledge of Database/SQL
- Core skills should include Java, XML, SOAP, J2EE Compliant Application Servers (Weblogic, JBoss/Tomcat, etc.), Frameworks (Hibernate, Spring) and Distributed Cache (Oracle Coherence)
- Experience with JMS, and TIBCO RV messaging services
- Strong programming/debugging skills
- Experience with all aspects of the development life cycle and test methodologies. Experience in using various development productivity tools is a plus.
- Development experience in Unix/Linux platform
- Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
- Able to work with cross functional teams.
- Responsible and react on production issues in a timely manner
- Derivatives product knowledge a plus
- Experience with Web Portal programming is a plus,
