2 Positions : .Net Developer & .Net Lead
Location : San Jose, CA
Duration : Long Term
Two people for a .Net service (.Net Developer & .Net Lead):
Lead .Net developer:
.Net server developer, for a server to be deployed in an IIS container. Skills should include:
o Server with a RESTful north bound API, deployed into IIS
o Ability to communicate with other Microsoft technologies, namely SCVMM
o Integration with AD for the purposes of authentication with other MS services, and authenticating other users against AD before providing services
o Familiarity with ACL model of authorization
o Implement certificate based authentication for a special client (that is something we can teach on the job, however, the basics of SSL and certificate based authentication should be known)
.Net developer:
o Comfortable with .Net technologies
o Familiarity with use of remote services. I.e., developing a client that consumes APIs of other MS services, or any http service for that matter
On a more practical hands-on level:
C# - the language
LINQ (to query C# arrays and other data sets, has lambda expressions)
XML manipulation
How to interact with Powershell from inside a .NET app
Possibly database access using ADO.NET (and ORM)
How to create/manage .NET projects using Visual Studio, package management, source management, building, deploying webapps
