Position:  Informatica Admin, Support

Location: Charlotte or Winston-Salem, NC

Length: 12 months

Rate: Open

 

Preferred EAD GC,USC

 

•         5 years’ experience in Informatica Administration, Involved in grid management, creation and upgrades of repository contents, creation of folders and users and their permissions

•         3+ years hands on experience with the configuration and ongoing administration of Informatica PowerCenter 8.x/9.x, Data Quality,

•         Provide performance tuning of Informatica mappings and sessions, and ability to identify the bottlenecks in the mappings that exceed the normal time and improve performance

•         Experience in integration of various data sources with Multiple Relational Databases like Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase and XML files, Main Frames, IBM DB2 and on integrating data from flat files like fixed width and delimited.

•         Strong experience in activities related to the development, implementation, administration and support of ETL processes for large-scale data warehouses using Power Center and Power Exchange.

•         Experience in installing Informatica Power center 9.x on Linux RedHat and MS 2008 and upgrading Informatica Power center Version 9.x to latest releases as well as the installation of hot fixes/patches

•         Well acquainted with Informatica Designer Components - Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Transformation Developer, Mapplet and Mapping Designer

•         Ability to analyze and resolved Informatica ETL issues routed to the team by business clients, customers and downstream applications.

•         Informatica Certified Consultant,, Informatica Certified Administrator, Informatica Certified developer.

•         Should have experience working  with multiple databases - Oracle/Teradata/DB2 and different loader utilities

•         Also Data Quality - Experience with working on Data Quality Projects involving Address Validation/Matching
