Location : Bartlesville, OK

Duration : 12months

We have a new opening for a Service Now Admin or Developer for a very large oil and gas company in Oklahoma. This is a 12 month contract that is likely to extend. We will accept candidates with strong Remedy experience as long as they have some light exposure to Service Now. Job description is below.

 

Job Description: 

The Service-Now Administrator will work as member of the ServiceNow team to administer Service Management applications. This includes working with 3rd Party Integrator and process owners to develop workflow, implement the workflows in Service Applications and administer the tools which includes Asset Management, Change Management, Service Desk, Service Level Management, Agentless Discovery, Project Management and various integrations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Answering "how to" technical and application configuration questions of other members of the technical team and process owners

• Facilitating roll out of new applications and modules

• Assisting in troubleshooting patch / release management issues

• Aiding in translating business requirements into technical requirements

• Helping to implement new functionality

• Writing Custom Reports

 

Requirements/Qualifications: 

• Excellent written and verbal communications

• The ability to take complex end-user requirements to system requirements to code

• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification

• Understanding of enterprise IT architecture

• Working knowledge of relational databases

• Web Services integrations and experience with web services via APIs

• Experience with IT Service Management, Service Desk, Asset Management and Change Management a plus.

• Knowledge of Service Now desired but not required.
