Qualifications:
Position Functions or Responsibilities:
The selected BSA will assist with a newly approved technology project using PMBOK methodologies. The BSA will report to the AE Information Technology PMO BSA Supervisor.
Services to be performed may include, but not be limited to, the following:
· Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
· Perform Business Process Reengineering and identify new applications of technology to business problems to make the business more effective
· Perform Business Process mapping
· Prepare solution options, risk identification, and gap analysis
· Develop training manuals/materials
· Prepare and document functional specifications and assist in developing technical specifications
· Work with IT, business personnel, and external vendors to understand and implement requirements
· The AE Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Project includes the following high level activities:
· Identify requirements for the data warehouse, including identification of all data needed in the warehouse
· Create project charter and plan and other project artifacts
· Implement data warehouse
· Implement business intelligence and reporting tool
· Implement other software required to support data warehouse and business intelligence tool
· Work with IT divisions and business units to identify staffing needs for both project and operations
· Manage project budget and any contracts required by the project
Basic Qualifications:
· Minimum of 10 year's work experience in identifying and documenting business functional and technial requirements and activities for application development as evidenced by previous work-related experience
· Minimum of 10 year's work experience in performing structured business analysis on medium to large projects
· Minimum of 10 year's work experience in gathering & analyzing requirements and validating the deliverables for data warehousing projects
· Minimum of 5 year's work experience as a lead Business Analyst role in one or more Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence project(s)
