Title: Java Developer with Semantic Tool

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Position Type: Contract/ FULLTIME Permanent

Hourly - Salary: $50/hr on CTC - $100K/Yr + Medical & Relocation Benefits Only 

 

Description:

Required Skills:

Strong Core Java 1.7 with solid understanding of collections, generics, concurrency, JAXP, JAXB, and JAX-WS

Must have used Apache Jena library in projects

Reactive programming with Akka.io or some other similar framework

Knowledge of Semantic technologies like RDF, OWL, SPARQL, Ontologies

Must have developed RESTful services and deployed in production

Good Software engineering skills – including design patterns, unit tests, profiling, debugging, working with Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration

Comfortable working in Agile development teams

 

Desired Skills:

Development with Scala – or some other functional language

Worked with Semantic MediaWiki

Metadata management in a large enterprise environment

FIBO

UML Modeling

Worked with MagicDraw
