SAP FI Indian Localization Consultant
Duration : 3 months+
Location: Atlanta, GA
Indian Localization Consultant
– Key Responsibilities/Activities
•Impart understanding of all underlying Master data, Configuration, and Transaction processing required to properly produce and register the Indian Excise Duties; Withholding taxes; and transactional taxes
•Work directly with Indian Localization Project Manager to validate that all business requirements are being met with the delivered solution, and there are no major manual processing requirements that would impede daily operations
•Communicate to Indian Localization Project Manager and Other functional owners (P2P, PTS, OTC) the potential impacts on duty and tax requirements and indicate where their support and involvement on any activities that they are required to complete
•Work with the master data team, business, and IT to properly capture all Master data requirements
•Document all key configuration set-up to transfer knowledge
•Train the local IT support persons to ensure that they are empowered to take on ongoing support in the future as it relates to all India duty and tax
• Help define test scripts
•Communicate with IT Finance India Localization Project Manager on a regular basis to provide updates on progress and any issues that may impact timeline
•Advise on any special cut-over activities that are required to support Excise Tax register reporting post SAP go live
