There is an urgent requirement of DevOps Engineer @ South Norwalk, CT & New York. If interested then please send your updated resume ASAP.

Position: DevOps Engineer (Only Local Candidate)
Location: South Norwalk, CT & New York

Must have:
4+ years' experience in Systems Engineering/DevOps role is required
Candidate must have demonstrated a strong knowledge of Linux systems and internals (CentOS preferred)
Experience in creating software to automate production systems with 1 of the following languages: python, ruby, java, go, etc. Python/Go experience is preferred.
Good understanding of networking and related protocols, must have a strong understanding of fundamentals
Candidate must have a demonstrated experience troubleshooting problems and working with a team to resolve large scale production issues
Strong experience with configuration management, monitoring and systems tools (ie: Puppet, Nagios, Cacti, Graphite, Logstash, etc).
Good understanding of MySQL

Nice to have:
Experience with Linux package management tools eg: rpm, deb & fpm etc.
Experience working with cloud-based (AWS) or hybrid environments (OpenStack) is highly desirable
Additionally, a working knowledge of Hadoop (Map Reduce, HDFS) is preferred
Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing methods (git, jenkins)
Familiarity with NoSQL technologies eg: mongodb, redis etc
