Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: DC

Duration : 12+ months

Required Skills:

This role is focused migration of a public website for a Government Agency using Drupal 7 platform. 

Solid understanding of Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 web standards

Familiar with Agile Development principles – Scrums and Sprints

Understanding of Drupal Platform is desired

Analyze and convert user requirements to Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks

Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders

Experience with responsive design concepts - Ensures cross-device, cross-browser, and cross-platform integrity of web and mobile applications/pages

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design or a related field

4+ years with extensively proficient in Adobe Creative Suite for Web Graphic design, Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator and Dreamweaver

Excellent written, oral and diagrammatic communication skills

Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - (Primarily Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign) 

Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Must be able to perform well in a deadline driven, rapidly changing team environment.
