Job Description :

Role : QA Manual Tester

Location : Austin,TX

Duration : 12+ Months

Responsibilities:

Create and implement test strategy, test plan and execute tests in various development environments.

Report, prioritize, and track defects, verify fixes, and perform follow-up activities to ensure that issues are resolved.

Required Technical Skills:

· 8 years of Creating Test Plans and Strategies

· 8 years of Creating Test Cases & Executing Manual Tests

· 8 years of Measuring and reporting test coverage across all applicable coverage dimensions

· 8 years of Configuring, using, and managing test environments and test data

· 8 years of Extensive DB experience – MySQL

· 8 years of Experience troubleshooting and testing

· 8 years of Experience in running defect triage meetings

· 8 years of Reporting, Prioritizing, tracking defects with follow up to resolution

Preference:

· 5 years of Testing in Waterfall, AGILE or Hybrid development environment

· 5 years of Working effectively to define testable user stories, especially acceptance criteria, with customer representatives and stakeholders for Waterfall, AGILE or Hybrid development

· 5 years of Collaborating within the teams, working in pairs with programmers and other team members in Waterfall, AGILE or Hybrid development environment

· 5 years of Respond to change quickly, including changing, adding, or improving test cases

· 5 years of Ensuring the appropriate testing tasks are scheduled during release and iteration planning for Waterfall, AGILE or Hybrid development environment
