Role: IT Network Engineer
Work Location: San Jose, CA
Duration:: 6 months
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Network Engineer with leadership qualities and a passion to plan/execute/deliver quality technical solutions Infrastructure.
This role will include a focus on network technologies such as Routing & Switching, security, and software defined Networking implemented in
our global core, campus, branch, and extranet offices.
● Candidate must have the ability to drive collaboration cross-functionally with other technical and project teams and lead our team to deliver timely and
quality end-to-end technical solutions.
● Candidate must have a passion to mentor new talent from our Intern and College Hire programs as well as skills to articulate our
external customers at EBCs.
● Ability to credibly influence technically across PDIO with strong communication skills and client focus within and outside of GIS.
● As a Network Engineer in the Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) organization, you will perform network Implementations for our Global Network infrastructure
. You would also be responsible for process and technology innovation that drives our team's success.
Minimum Qualifications
● LAN/WAN recognized expert, in particular or in multiple technological fields of specialization, within and outside of the organization
● CCNP required, CCIE highly preferred
Desired Skills
● Detailed understanding in routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, etc.)
● Strong understanding of all current technologies and good understanding of emerging technologies
● Solve complex, cross-functional issues that cross many groups
● Experience in working with security incidents
