Mainframe Developer

• Proficient in Mainframe technologies

o Programming experience in PL/1 (preferred) or COBOL

o JCL

o DB2 SQL

o CLIST/REXX

o DMS (Dialog Management Services) – coding and testing of a DMS interactive application

o VSAM

o IBM Utilities (IEBCOPY, IEBGENER, SORT)

• Proficient in designing, developing and testing of applications on Mainframe host environments

• Have knowledge of Panvalet version control product

• Interact with business users, other developers and application/area stakeholders regarding project activities

• Work with Testing team to set up test environments

• Work with Testing team during system/acceptance testing and work on defects logged

• Responsible for providing status of project activities

• Participate in documentation reviews and walk-throughs

• Participate in project Team requirements reviews

• Create documents and job aids to help users regarding new process/application changes
