Job Description:
Our Client is seeking a Software Developer with Microsoft .NET experience to join our development team. You will work with current team members in a hands-on development capacity on tasks to constantly maintain and improve our critical systems to align with changing business initiatives. This includes working on such business applications as the Client's flagship web application that has features and functions for medical practitioners as well as the back office systems which support the site and other business teams. You will also work in conjunction with the Program Management Team to effectively communicate development progress, risks and issues with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
ü Analyze, design, implement, refactor, and unit test software components using .NET technologies
ü Work with our team to understand, clarify, and shape requirements for tasks Communicate effectively and appropriately with all members of the team
Requirements:
ü BS in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS, or have equivalent work experience
ü 1-3 years of professional software development experience
ü Experience developing with Visual Studio - particularly C#, WCF, and Entity Framework
ü Experience with web development including ASP.NET, JavaScript, and AJAX
ü Understanding of relational database design and programming with SQL Server
ü An understanding of object oriented design and development
ü Ability to rapidly learn new technologies
ü Working knowledge of agile software development practices
ü Excellent written and verbal communication skills Passion for developing effective, high-quality software solutions
