Required Skills:
Primary skill set: HTML/5, CSS/3, JavaScript/jQuery
Secondary skill set: Responsive Web, CSS framework (LESS/SASS/Compass), JavaScript Framework (Backbone/Angular), .NET, JSP/Java
· Expert knowledge of browser-side technology such as HTML5, Core JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, SASS, COMPASS, Responsive/Mobile development, cookies, caching and security.
· Must possess ability to take a software engineering approach to delivering front-end HTML-based software.
· Real-world experience in delivering consumer-grade responsive web applications with emphasis on mobile first design methodology.
· Hands-on experience working with and maintaining production RESTful web services.
· Knowledge of software engineering practices required for working in large groups, such as software development life cycles, coding standards, test driven development, code reviews, revision control systems (SVN), continuous test/build/deploy, and production systems monitoring/support.
· Understanding and experience with Data Driven design and development.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Successful candidates have the desire to write high quality code to build innovative web applications and the skill to handle the quirks of the Internet (and browsers and devices).
· Knowledge of GRUNT, ANT, QUnit, Jasmine, or similar JS frameworks is a plus.
· Practical knowledge of using a dynamic language like .NET, JSP/Java a plus.
· Experience working with Agile Methodologies a plus.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and team oriented worker.
