Role: Oracle DBA
Location: Somerset, NJ
Duration: 6+ months
Duties:
· Develop, implement, administer and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of mission critical database management systems, including creating and maintaining users
· Implement data models, designs, access, and table maintenance codes.
· Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
· Resolve performance, replication, and capacity issues.
· Perform database tuning and performance monitoring
· Maintain Patch Management and Version Control
· Administers database objects, including tables, constraints, partitions, indexes, views, materialized view, sequences, packages and procedures.
· Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
Mandatory Skills:
· Experience with Oracle 11R2 6+ Years
· Experience with Code Migration 4+ Years
· Experience with Capacity Planning 4+ Years
· VPD (Fine Grained Access Control and Row Level Security)
· Oracle DBA experience on Windows and Unix/Linux
· A sound knowledge of both database and program code performance tuning.
· Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes through the development life cycle as well as system backup and recovery
· Good communication skills
Desired Skills
· Experience with PL/SQL helpful
· Experience with Dynamic SQL helpful
· Documentation skill helpful (ERD, architecture and design documents, Visio, Erwin, other)
· Experience with TOAD and “Code Tester for Oracle” helpful
Knowledge of the Healthcare Domain is a plus
Role: COBOL-Lead
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Schaumburg, IL
· Full SDLC application development.
· Design, code and debug complex software applications.
· Perform software analysis, risk analysis, reliability analysis.
· Participate in software modeling and simulation.
· Integrate new software solutions with existing systems.
Mandatory Skills:
· 4-6 Years of strong analysis/research skills of complex data relationships in a COBOL environment
· 4-6 Years of experienced in managing multiple environments and migrating data between environments
· 4-6 years of strong hands on data feed experience working in a COBOL environment (VMS preferred).
Desired Skills:
· 2-4 years of DEC VMS Alpha OS and DCL experience
· 2-4 years of Web Services Development exposure
· 2-4 years IT Healthcare experience
